What we do on opening

On openings we pull the cover off, fold it up and put it in the cover bag to dry. We lower all the safety cover anchors. We will replace any anchors that don't go down (additional cost for replacement). We remove any winterization plugs and put in return directionals. We set up returns to optimally move water around the pool ensuring water circulation in the bowl of the deep end. We install/replace any system winterization drain plugs. Check for any minor leaks, cracked skimmer or pump baskets and replace/repair if necessary. We check to make sure the filter system is running properly and any equipment functioning correctly. We add start up chemicals 4gal of shock and 1qt copper-based algaecide and blow off the pool deck. Any major repairs needed will need to be rescheduled. There will be an extra fee of $75 to retrieve any covers that are not left on the pool deck.

What we do on closing

On closing we clean the filters. We winterize the lines and cap under pressure to ensure no water intrusion. We winterize the skimmers, anti-freeze then cap off skimmers and seal the main drain. Raise and replace any frozen anchors for safety cover (additional cost for replacement). Add closing chemicals 1 bottle of winter shock and 1qt of winter algaecide. We remove any system winterization drain plugs. All equipment that is left out is put in one place on the pool deck for homeowner to store in a cool dry rodent free place. Lastly, we put on the cover and adjust if needed. There will be an extra charge of $75 to move a cover to a storage area.

What we do NOT do on opening
We do not vacuum, skim or brush the pool on opening. We do offer a clean-up service that is an add on after the pool has been opened. The price for this service ranges depending on how the pool opened. Water clarity, winter debris that has gotten in the pool, filter media and how often it has to be cleaned. typical price range is $200-$800 depending on above factors.
